I've been asked many times how I got started in this and where I got the idea, considering that not many people do this craft, so I'll answer those questions assuming you're interested in the same thing.

I first encountered this craft a few years ago on YouTube, looking for something completely different. By typing in various terms, I came across a profile that dealt with "leathercrafting", or haberdashery. What I saw then left me speechless. I saw a man who made leather wallets and card holders, he showed in detail how to make each product. He had beautifully recorded videos, and the only sound I could hear in the video was the sound of the leather. I fell in love with it at the same moment, but I wasn't ready to get involved in something like that at the time.

Over the next few years and the big changes in my life brought by children, my desire was born to create something of my own, to offer people something different and unique. Something simple, practical and of high quality. Something that I could make with my own hands because that is what brings me peace, happiness and satisfaction. My true self.

At one point, I remembered this craft and those videos I had seen back then and I found them very quickly. My fascination did not wane at all. In fact, it grew into a great desire to try my hand at it. In the absence of formal education, I was left to be self-taught, so I watched very detailed videos, absorbing every piece of advice, every step, and every smallest detail. Soon after, I started making some of my first products, and my love for it grew stronger and stronger.

As I am a big dreamer by nature and I believe that anything we imagine is possible if we persevere enough, I firmly decided that I would not give up on this. I came up with a name with which I wanted to present my work, Pellos (pelle in Italian means leather, and OS represents my city of Osijek), I started investing in better quality tools and better quality leather and after that everything started to fall into place, and the highlight was when I finally decided to share my new hobby with my Instagram community. The wonderful comments and enthusiasm for my work gave me the wind at my back and I decided that it was time to share it with more people.

When I was thinking about what the vision for Pellos would be, I realized that I wanted to put the customer first, their needs and desires. To create premium products for them that would suit their style and needs, and would last for years. I wanted each product to have its own story.

As in every aspect of my life, when creating my products, I pay special attention to simplicity and practicality, without compromising the quality of the product. To ensure maximum quality, all products are made of premium Italian leather from the world's most famous tanneries. In addition, I pay special attention to the details during production, because they are the ones that make the difference.
